The Ginger Snaps Soundtrack

When you look at the photograph of the ginger snaps soundtrack CD you somehow (at least as a ginger snaps fan) naturally want to have it in your hands. You want to open these cracky (if it isnt old and cracky when you buy it, it surely soon will be as this is the fate of all CD shells) CD shell, put the CD in your computer or stereo device and look at the overwhelmingly beautiful booklet (if there is one - i dont know it because i do not have the CD).

This is all the magic and power if just showing the picture above. (of course the things now written dont apply for everyone)

I took a closer look on the music on this CD!

The interesting found when you look at the tracklist is that there many tracks in the movie (imo some of the best) that are not on the CD and also that there is a track on the CD that i cant find in the movie ^^

Oh yes thats ironic.

Songs that are in the movie and not contained in the OST CD:

1. The party scene track: "The Step Kings - Vibe Thats" this american sounding nu metally track with the catchy "come on" line. I dont need it but it is somehow essential for the scene.

2. The school posing track: "Junkie XL - Love Like Razorblade" from this embarrassing scene when ginger walks around in school with her new outfit and everyone is iritated (veery much)

3. The other party scene music: "Razed in Black - Overflow" somehow strange and catchy enough for me to "like" it

4. The "song" from the "I'm a werewolf and beat you because you dont like my sister and treat her unfair in hockey-scene": "Fear Factory - Remanufacture" I dont like new metal I dont like this. ! but thats just me: its a song that has to be contained by the OST!

5. The "Ginger Snaps Theme" THE theme ! it playes in the beginning when you see the fotoshow.

On www.ginger-snaps.com there are listed two other songs that i sadly (so sadly) cannot youtube (why? youtube has everything - i dont know why, i just want to find the songs). The mentioned songs/tracks are:

5. "Sprawl - Star" I dont know where and what it is. please tell me

6. The song from the "sex and biting in the car" scene: "Bon Voyage - Kiss my lips" So sad that this is not on the CD. Its one of my favorites out of the OST.

Now ok, everythings fine with that. But the interesting fact is that the last track (track number 14) Her Ghost in the Fog by Cradle of Filth. is not hearable in the movie. At least I cannot find it! This song you can be familiar with if you watched MTV or something like that. It is the song with the video that shows a girl in thin black clothes running around in winterly forests while the band plays around as if they were vampires.

I do fully agree that the song would fit in the movie. Also the old (not the new) image of the band Cradle of Filth is somehow ginger snapy, but where is the song?? I cannot find it. and i really searched.

Perhaps you can help me to find it ^^ if not: thats strange, hm?
